Bram Frank design 

The Abaniko2 is a folding version of GM / Datu Bram Frank's legendary Abaniko Tactical fixed blade. The AT (Abaniko Tactical) was designed for military use by DELTA, RECON. SFand members of CENTCOM and SOCOM ...as well as teams outside of the USA. 

Over the last 5 years he decided to make the AT into one of the world's best Tactical folders available for use in today's environment. 

The Abaniko2 is a tip-down deployment, and engages in a classic firearms ergonomics " press" and uses Frank's patented and trademarked Bramp kinetic opening system. This means it's incredibly fast out of one's pocket and ready for use as a ballpeen hammer and trapping tool. 

The other feature of the Bramp comes into use as the blade Kinetically deploys upon contact with any object or opponent. 

To further aid in opening the lower guard of the original AT has been kept and on the Abaniko2 becomes a " rear flipper" opening device.

Open or closed the Abaniko2 Tactical folder uses Frank's spoon clip, and indexing to allow seamless transition between forward and reverse grips without loss of grip on the knife with the flow of use. 

Some of the other unique features are the proud jimped liner, solid pummel/ butt cap for weight control of the blade to hand ratio, making it a rear wheel drive weighted knife and of course, using it as a breaker.

To secure the blade colored and open is Frank's patented Puzzlelock system that uses interconnectivity between the tang arm and the blade itself, with the tang arm dovetail jointed and jigsaw puzzle pieced directly into the blade making it a solid piece of steel like a fixed blade. 

It has firearms ergonomics so the lock release is on the top of the blade where one's decock or mag release are and are accessed the same way with one's thib.leaving the knife always in one's vision and in a user position while in and out of battery. It also is a multi grip knife with the ability to be sabre grip, hammer grip or 2 handed grip for heavy use.

The Bramped kinetic opening Abaniko2 comes with Frank's modified Tactical Bowie shape blade which is 4 inches of steel in either satin finish or Tactical black.

The blade is hand ground and the knife hand assembled to be a custom production knife.

The Abaniko2 handles are proprietary G10 as used in all of Frank's knives.  

The blade is 8Cr13MoV steel heat treated to 56RK-58RK.  This allows great edge retention and easy sharpening out in the field during use.
